The idea came about during an ice storm in Austin, when the city was brought to a halt as ice-laden trees collapsed, power lines snapped, and driveways froze over. In one neighborhood, a group of men came together to help their neighbors clear debris and restore safety. As they worked, talk shifted from storm cleanup to realizing how much effort it takes to keep outdoor spaces safe and functional year-round.
It became clear that maintaining homes, yards, and outdoor spaces is a continuous challenge, often more than any one person can handle alone. That’s when the idea for OutdoorJack took shape—born from the need to simplify outdoor care. The goal was to bundle essential services into one convenient solution that could keep homes in top condition, without the stress. Inspired by that day of teamwork and community spirit, OutdoorJack was created to help homeowners all over maintain their outdoor spaces with ease.
